If you list a guy at #1 twice on a depth chart how does the computer decide which position he will play?

If both positions are on the play, then the players "natural" position takes precedence. I'm almost certain of this.

What if neither are his natural position. Say listing a WR as both RB and TE?

It is, except for QB and kicker positions which are fielded first.
